Hey guys, we’ve been looking at our total number of visitors that have been coming to the site, which in our eyes is sizeable (not at all in the grand scheme of the internet though) we’ve noticed one thing: Where are the comments?
We love comments. Despite what you may think, we read each and every single one and take each one to heart. I know we sometimes don’t respond to every comment but we do read them. So please, if you feel like you have something to add or you just want say something please do so! Again we read them and if it catches our eye, we’ll respond.
I want to send out a big thank you to all of our readers out there in Blazermania. Portland Trail Bloggers just celebrated our two month aniversary and we couldn’t be happier with the reponse the site has gotten. Our views have skyrocketed over the past 7-10 days and are we are showing the ability to stabalize our viewership at a level higher then any of us expected after just two months.

Hello everyone. We’ve been quiet the last couple days because we’ve been hard at work at updating and writing some new features for the site. Look for our pre-season power rankings and player rankings to be updated sometime this week and also look for the start of the VS Series. The VS Series will be a team by team, position by position breakdown of how the Blazers match up against the rest of the league. We’ll be posting a new entry in the series every day until the season opener against LA. 29 days. 29 teams.

Thanks for hanging in there for us. It’s been a busy 12 or so hours. Let me tell you, moving publishing services for a whole website? Not that cool.
Anyways, if you can’t tell, we’ve moved onto Wordpress. We looked at a lot of options and felt that Wordpress gave us the most flexibility and ability to do what we wanted with the site. As you can tell, there’s a lot of new features for the site such as post categories, a blog roll, twitter updates, and as we promised a comments system. For those who prefer the forum don’t worry it’s still up.
There are some missing pages here and there and we’re working on those so don’t worry. The 100% final design is not up yet. We are still polishing things off and getting the final logo.

Hey guys, this is basically a housekeeping post. First off, we want to thank everyone for visiting and coming back to the site on a regular basis. We’ve seen considerable increases in traffic since we went “live” and started promoting the site two weeks ago. We keep growing everyday!
We’re continuing to work hard to give you guys the news and irreverent commentary you want. The forums are alive and kicking, but it could use some more posters so please join if you haven’t already! We’re working on implementing a new comments system for the site so you can post direct on the blog. However, that might not become a reality for awhile, but we’ll keep you posted.
Lastly, big shout out to the Oregon Live forums and users “WhistleTips” and “tTownAdmiral.” Both of those users created threads on the O-Live forums pimping the site so big ups to them. (Don’t start spamming the site on forums looking for shout-outs by the way), but we do appreciate the love, and it does help get PTB out there for other fans to discover. We have a policy not to flood forums or anything like that with our link, but if you do like the site, please do pass it on to other fans. You guys, the fans, are what motivate us to continue working on the site. So to see people linking to us and mentioning us on other sites is a huge thrill.
